I wrote these songs between May and September for the Bummer City Open Mic, which has been convening virtually every other Thursday since the COVID lockdown began. Before performing each song, I made a simple home recording to help me remember how to play it.

I’ve gathered those recordings here—they have been lightly edited but are unmistakably lo-fi demos (a sound I’ve always loved). Taken together, they are a document of pandemic musicmaking—of songwriting and the virtual community that has fostered it.
